Learning Through Play in Various Learning Centers
Dramatic Play – Children learn to pretend, share roles, use imagination, practice language, and understand everyday life through play like cooking, caring for family, or acting out themes we are learning about.
Math – Children build early math skills by counting, sorting shapes, recognizing numbers, making patterns, and solving simple puzzles.
Writing – Children practice holding writing tools, tracing letters, recognizing their name and the alphabet, and developing early writing confidence.
Science – Children explore and discover how things work through hands-on activities with magnets, plants, bugs, and sensory materials like kinetic sand.
Blocks/Floor Toys – Children learn problem-solving, creativity, balance, teamwork, and spatial awareness while building and creating structures.
Fine Motor – Children strengthen small hand muscles and coordination through puzzles, play dough, drawing, cutting, and peg board activities.
Reading – Children develop a love of books, build vocabulary, improve listening skills, and begin understanding stories and print concepts.
