Covid-19 Information

COVID-19

As we all know COVID-19 is an ever changing situation and I will keep in contact with everyone regarding updated regulations. Entry requirements to the US currently state that fully vaccinated adults and under 18s may enter without quarantine if they meet the following conditions:

  • A negative test result taken a maximum of one day before departure completed by a lab in order to get a ‘fit to fly’ certificate

  • A Proof of COVID vaccination if applicable

Full details of entry requirements can be found here:

Unfortunately the school does not have provision to pay for students or staff to do this so it must be paid for individually. Details of companies that provide these tests and are accepted by British Airways can be found on the following link:

The average cost of these varies but without them you cannot travel overseas. I can support anyone that needs advice with booking.

I must stress that without a ‘fit to fly’ certificate we cannot take you to the airport as you will not be admitted on the plane. It is vitally important this is organised prior to departure.

A comprehensive risk assessment has been written and approved by the both the council and the school to keep our students safe on this trip. This will include daily LFT's and mask wearing (both of which will be provided by the school). The insurance covers for isolation for both students and staff members. If you have any further questions about these please do not hesitate to contact either Miss Tsappis or Ms Still.
