Mrs. Neely

My name is Katie Neely.  I am proud to be part of St. Gerard Majella as an employee, parent and parishioner.  I grew up in  Millstadt, IL, received a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education with a dual degree in Elementary Education from Fontbonne University along with a Master's Degree in Special Education from Northwest Missouri State University. 

I have a true passion for leading, collaborating and helping identify unique abilities of our students. I also believe students' success is a team effort with many components in creating a strong resources department. Helping educators, parents and students progress in all areas of academic, social, executive functioning and intellectual development is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a collaborative team that nurtures  the growth of learners. 

Personally, I have been married for 14 years and have two wonderful children. I enjoy reading and I am a sport's fan from the sidelines watching my children do what they love.  I am especially passionate about learning new information related to education.
