This enrichment course invites students to explore their creativity through both English language arts and visual arts as they collaboratively write and illustrate their own graphic novels. Guided by Mrs. Sutton and Mr. Porter, students will develop characters, conflict, and plot, design layouts and panels, and refine their work through ongoing feedback, ultimately producing a unique, fully created graphic novel of their own. Students should plan to bring a sketchbook, drink and small snack, and there will be a mid-morning break.
