Chrome and Google Apps

Google Chrome Help

If students log in on a school issued Chromebook they are automatically logged into the Chrome Web Browser.

If students are not logging in to a school device they will need to install the Google Chrome browser and log into Chrome using their username and password from SGFCSD to access our programs and accounts.

Once the Chrome browser is installed follow the next steps to sign into Chrome on a non-school device.

• Go to the three dots in the upper right corner of the Chrome web browser

• Click Settings

• Click Turn On (blue button)

• Click Link Data

Once students are logged into their Chrome account using their school username and password, they will have access to ClassLink and all apps within our system.

Once you have logged in you will stay logged into Chrome even if you log off of the computer.

Your apps and extensions may take a few minutes to load. If you want to log out of Google Chrome, you must reverse the steps and click Turn Off.
