What is poem anyways?

Poems are types of literature that is carefully created with lines and stanzas usually following a metre or rhyming scheme. Poetry is a way in putting emotions into words.

It is a type of poetry which expresses personal emotions or feelings. They are short, non-narrative, and presents a state of mind. 

Now, what is Free verse? 

Free verse poems don't have regular rhymes or fixed metrical pattern. It makes artistic use of sound, imagery, and a wide range of literacy devices. Slam poetry is an example of a free verse poem. Sometimes it rhymes, sometimes it changes.

What is Narrative poem?

Narrative poetry is poetry that tells a story. Just like the typical structure of a story, it usually has a beginning, middle, and end, but narrative poetry can have an  unpredictable structure. Narrative poetry usually has one narrator who chronicles the events.
