If you received a message from your mentor that your chromebook is ready for pickup...
You must do one of the following:
Call Technology at: (734) 246 - 4648
Email Technology at: technology_staff@sgate.k12.mi.us
You will set an appointment time with them to come pick up your computer.
When you applied to Atlas, you had to check two boxes that said you read and agreed to our policies before your application would be accepted.
You are bound by these agreements when you are part of our program.

Return Your Device When You Leave Atlas
In the event that you leave the program for any reason, including but not limited to transferring, dropping, or graduating, you must return the device immediately in good condition or you will be responsible for the fines incurred.
You will receive a copy of a "Device Return Form" with fines when you turn it in. If you do not receive this form, please ask for it so that you have it for your records!

The following is the District Chromebook and Hotspot Policy that you signed and are responsible for:
We, parent/student, acknowledge that in order to receive the above identified technology, this agreement must be read, acknowledged and signed by the parent/guardian of the minor student user, or if the student user is over eighteen, by the student user, and in doing so agree to the following:
A District provided device must be used by the student for District authorized use only.
Any District provided device loaned to a student must be returned to the district in the condition it was initially provided to the student considering reasonable care and use by the student.
The technology must be returned within 10 calendar days if the student:
Fails to participate in the program for more than 30 calendar days.
Voluntarily leaves the program or chooses to no longer attend.
Is removed from the program due to a violation of the applicable student code of conduct.
Is removed from the program by the District for any reason.
The parent or student shall be responsible to reimburse the District the cost of any technology device that is lost, damaged beyond reasonable use or beyond its value, abandoned, missing, stolen, or cannot be returned to the District. Failure to comply with any of the terms in this agreement could give the District grounds to refer the matter to a third-party collection and asset recovery agency.
A parent/student will be required to report any hardware/software issue to the building Administrator within two school days of the commencement of the problem.
A parent/student must report to the Administrator within two school days in the event the device has been damaged or is missing.
A parent or student is required to immediately file a police report in the event it is believed the device has been stolen. Within one day after filing a police report, the parent or student will submit a copy of the police report to the Administrator.
We, parent and student, acknowledge that use of any network through the device includes the potential for accessing websites with inappropriate materials. It is the responsibility of all users to attempt to avoid these sites through appropriate use of the Internet and abide by the District’s Acceptable Use Policy.
