Recharge, Relax and Reflect!

SIX ways to use your summer:

  1. PRAY...Build a relationship with Jesus.
  2. SERVE...Think of others in need.
  3. EXPLORE...the world around you and your God-given talents
  4. 5. and 6. PRACTICE- Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic...be sure to keep your skills sharp and complete your summer work packets!

Remote Learning was uncharted territory and we got through it and can learn from it! We were guided by our 4 'Compass Points':

Visit the parish Facebook page for Live viewing of any Masses!

Let's keep each other in prayer!

Be sure to pray and stay close to Jesus all throughout the summer. Go to Holy Mass as you are able.

He never left our side, and we should continue to walk with Him!

"More things are wrought by prayer than this world dreams of." ~Tennyson

Gr. 6-8 Students visited all subject area teacher's Google Classrooms DAILY.

  • Use of the school planner was key to executive functioning. Students were expected to write assignments and/or scheduled Zoom calls each morning to check off as they go and keep track of deadlines.
  • Teachers were all available each "school day" via Google Classroom or email from 1:00-2:00pm.

In an effort to address social/emotional learning needs in this unique time we offered

FUN FLEX FRIDAYS

Students visited the Flex page each Friday for options to expand their BODY, MIND, and SOUL while on quarantine and submitted a Google form for participation and feedback.

You can still explore parts of the Flex page this summer, if you didn't get to it all...learning can be FUN!

PARENTS hopefully explored some of the FREE Interactive Parent Forums that were offered by The S.E.A.L. Foundation. They are all archived on their site, if you want to take a look this summer!
