BRILL - Brill Journal Archive Online  is offers scholarly sources, with the full text of near 300,000 book chapters and journal articles, covering the Humanities. Chemistry - American Chemical Society Legacy Archives - Access to over 464,000 articles from the complete backfiles of 22 journals published by the American Chemical Society between 1879 and 1995. Titles include some of the most highly-cited journals in the field, such as 'Chemical Reviews', the 'Journal of the American Chemical Society', and the 'Journal of Organic Chemistry'.

Institution of Civil Engineers Virtual Library Archive - Use this database to access several key periodical titles  published  between 1836 and 2002. Alternatively use the JISC collection option under Periodicals/A-Z Periodicals. Particularly useful for Engineering students.-Use college login details when accessing externally.
