Community Days are events we hold during normal Advisory periods on Wednesdays. We have 3 Community Days every school year (one per trimester). Teachers host events, and students choose which activities they want to participate in. It is meant to be fun and bring our community closer together.
Activity Examples:
Friendship Bracelets
Bubbles
Cornhole
Oil Changes
Dancing
Karaoke
Advisory Challenges are competitions where you must collaborate with your Advisory class against other Advisories. These once-per-trimester challenges are meant to increase collaboration, cooperation, and teamwork within your Advisory class. The Culture Climate Team believes that the Advisory class is at the heart of the school experience. Your Advisory class should be your support system, offering encouragement as you navigate challenges and celebrate successes together.
Challenge Examples:
Advisory Parties are for our exemplary Advisory classes who excel at Advisory Challenges, attendance (best overall, and best improved across trimesters), and behavior expectations. Advisories can earn chip parties and ice cream parties.
The Party Cart has various board games and activities for classes to borrow and use for community building, either for academic classes or advisory classes. Here are some of the activities available:
Giant Jenga
Giant Connect 4
Giant Parachute
Giant Uno Cards
Tug-of-War
The RMS Party Cart can be found in the library. Please consult with Ms. Cloues when borrowing materials!
The Culture Climate Team rewards students for attendance, improved attendance (lowest tardies, reduced tardies), and overall behavior. We had our inaugural Punctuality Party in March of 2025 and will continue to develop ways to celebrate the success of our students.
