Historically making spaces populated by white people while excluding women and people of color.  Therefore the mission of MADE is to develop a unique, engaging, interactive and rigorous space that pushes students to challenge social norms around clothing, making and design. Students will engage in rigorous academics through the context of hands-on making and will be exposed to the process of creating a variety of projects ranging from embroidery, to screen printing to laser cutting.
