Facing the challenge of filling big shoes after last year’s championship run, this year’s Hoover Hawks girls' basketball team rose to the occasion with determination and heart. Despite being a young, inexperienced squad, their hard work, dedication, and great coaching earned them the final playoff spot in their division, showcasing true Hawk spirit and pride.

The Hoover Hawks boys' basketball team dominated the competition this season, trailing for less than a minute during the whole season while maintaining humility, focus, and respect for the game. Guided by exceptional coaches, their hard work and discipline paid off as they secured Hoover's first boys basketball championship in over 20 years—a truly unforgettable season.
Competing in the upper division against experienced club players, our team held their own—and then some. This resulted in a 8-2 record with an appearance in the semi-finals for the third straight year, a testament to the grit, growth, and heart of this team. With a roster made up of few with experienced and mostly athletes our coaches molded this group into true volleyball players, they came together fast and fought even harder. They played with hustle, chemistry, and pride—representing Hoover with every serve, set, and spike.
We’re proud of their accomplishments and even prouder of the team they became.
