Welcome to the Wellness Center at Glen Park Elementary!
Our Wellness Center is a dedicated space where students can take a break, recharge, and practice mindfulness in a supportive environment. Open to all students, and sometimes adults too, it’s a calming spot where young minds can find balance amidst the school day’s hustle and bustle. Whether it’s a 10-minute sensory break or quiet time with fidgets, art supplies, books, or games, the center offers students a chance to relax, refocus, and reset.
But our Wellness Center is more than just a relaxation space—it’s a hub for mental, emotional, and social growth. We offer a variety of programs designed to help our students thrive, including:
Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS): Encouraging positive behaviors to create a nurturing and respectful school environment.
Restorative Practices: Fostering conflict resolution and relationship-building through dialogue and understanding.
Small Group Counseling: Helping students navigate challenges with professional support in a small, supportive setting.
Mentor For Success Program: Pairing students with mentors to guide them in academic and personal development.
PAX Support: Promoting peace and positive actions in the classroom.
Lunch Bunch: Offering students a fun and social space to build friendships and practice social skills.
Our team includes Mr. Jabril Rollins, our School Social Worker, Mr. Michael Raciti, our Community Resource Specialist, and Mr. Bill Burke, our Community School Coordinator.
Whether you're here to learn more about what we do or find valuable resources on mental health and wellness, we're excited to be part of your journey!
School Social Worker
Hello Glen Park Families! I’m Jabril Rollins, your School Social Worker. This is my sixth year working with the incredible Glen Park Elementary community. I’m passionate about supporting the social, emotional, and behavioral well-being of our students. Whether through Wellness Wednesdays, counseling groups, or one-on-one check-ins, my goal is to help every student feel empowered, connected, and ready to thrive.
I collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and staff to create a safe, supportive environment where students can develop the skills they need to manage emotions, build resilience, and succeed both inside and outside the classroom. From early identification of challenges to evidence-based interventions, I’m here to guide students on their wellness journey.
A little about me: I’m originally from sunny Los Angeles, so yes, I’m a devoted Dodgers and Lakers fan! When I’m not at school, you can find me at the beach, playing video games, watching movies, or deep in a good book—I’m in multiple book clubs!
Community Relations Specialist
With over 20 years of experience in education—12 with SFArtsED and 13 with SFUSD—Michael Raciti is dedicated to creating a safe and positive environment for students at Glen Park Elementary. He manages recesses and lunches, ensuring that cooperative play and student safety remain top priorities. Michael also oversees our support staff and volunteers, helping them implement best practices for student engagement.
Michael uses restorative practices to mediate conflicts, giving students a voice in resolving issues and repairing harm. As a member of the Coordinated Care Team, he supports both schoolwide initiatives and targeted interventions, including promoting good behavior, improving attendance, and fostering a safe, inclusive school climate.
When he's not at school, Michael enjoys playing guitar, bicycling, and exploring culinary cuisine. He’s also a proud father to Valentina, who is currently pursuing her master’s degree.
Community School Coordinator
I began my career in Youth Development at Glen Park in 2006, serving as the After-School Site Coordinator until 2012. This is now my second year back at Glen Park after 12 years with the YMCA. My early years at Glen Park laid the foundation for my career, teaching me the importance of respecting and uplifting the community you serve, and showing me that a school thrives when the entire community is engaged.
I am deeply passionate about serving the whole child. To me, that means ensuring every student feels supported by the adults they encounter, develops a sense of belonging in the Glen Park community, learns how to resolve conflicts with empathy, and ultimately enjoys a positive and meaningful school experience.
Who is Bill outside of work? He is a Bay Area sports fan and soccer coach to his 6-year-old daughter, Krystal, who is a 1st grader at Nesbit in Belmont. He is a son of 2nd and 3rd generation San Franciscans and loves the outdoors, spending time with family and friends. He is also incredibly lucky and happy to be back a part of the Glen Park community.
