Field Trips

DMD seniors visited the KQED offices.  They learned how they create their media, and had the opportunity to make some of their own.  They recorded their stories with a professional setup, and a select few made it on the radio.  This was one of the best ways to discover careers in this field.

DMD juniors took a trip to the DeYoung Museum.  They studied all of the elements of art in each piece, and how they are used to make a beautiful piece of art.

The DMD 10th graders learned about modern art at the SF MOMA.  They dove deep into their favorite pieces and learned their backround information.
