Southern Exposure - The One-On-One Mentorship Program pairs passionate advanced youth artists, ages 16 to 21, with professional artist mentors, who provide guidance, develop goals and share skills, knowledge and expertise with the mentee over the course of a year. CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS!
Youth Art Exchange sparks a shared creative practice between professional artists and public high school students, furthering youth as leaders, thinkers, and artists in San Francisco. The classes available for Spring Semester are: Carnaval Dance, Fashion Design, Industrial Design, Filmmaking, Music Production, Printmaking, Digital and Black + White Photography. Asian Art Museum - Art Speak Teen Internships - The Asian Art Museum’s Art Speak internship offers on-the-job training and monthly stipends to seven public high school students in grades 10–12. Interns discover Asian art and cultural traditions, and learn from local artists and arts organizations, conduct informational interviews with museum staff to explore careers in the arts, and develop their leadership skills creating and leading art activities with the general public
Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco - Museum Ambassadors - Under the direction of the Manager of the Teen and Family Programs, Museum Ambassadors are San Francisco public high school students who join the staff of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. Museum Ambassadors represent the Museums to San Francisco youth and families. They lead outreach art activities to the community at San Francisco Public Libraries.
