Ms. Abrons has lived on both coasts and in the Midwest, but considers Lexington, MA her hometown and San Francisco her forever home. She earned a BA in Theatre Arts from the University of Iowa and completed her Special Education teaching credential at UMass Boston. She taught in Massachusetts before moving to San Francisco in 1997 to escape the snow.
When she’s not in the classroom, you’ll often find her walking, spending time with family and friends, cheering at a baseball game, or planning her next adventure. A proud auntie to nine nieces and nephews, she cherishes every chance to be with them.
This year, Ms. Abrons is excited to teach Algebra, Geometry, and 9th & 10th grade Strategies for Success once again. Now in her nineteenth year as a Wallenberg Bulldog, she loves how the community truly lives the school motto - BARK! - by being Brave, Accountable, Respectful, and Kind. She’s definitely a Bulldog for life. Go Bulldogs!
