Paper overview
Quite often a piece of speculative literature is a reflection of modern society. Fahrenheit 451 is no exception. Writing a novel set in the future gives Ray Bradbury the freedom to make comments about the world in which he lived (the 1950s). It can be argued that Bradbury also makes comments about the world in which we live. This commentary serves as a warning, which ultimately is the catalyst for dystopian novels. In this research project, you will discuss what relevance Fahrenheit 451 has.
