The San Francisco School (SFS) team is eager to share more about the program and curriculum on Thursday evening! Though the COVID-19 pandemic creates unusual and unprecedented circumstances, necessitating students to be taught remotely for at least part of the year, the teachers will apply a progressive approach to education that encourages children to develop self-reliance, solid academic skills, integrity, and a sense of social values. SFS graduates are academically prepared, inquisitive, compassionate, and eager for the challenges ahead.
At SFS, we believe students learn best when the following tenets are an integral part of their experience: curiosity, challenge, collaboration, courage, and compassion. For more please visit the website and read about our educational philosophy.
As the School strives to help each student reach their potential, either online in School on the Go or in-person, it works to equip students with the essential skills and qualities of life-long learners: the ability to persist when challenged, to ask and consider difficult questions, to problem-solve both independently and cooperatively, to communicate effectively, to self-reflect, and to advocate for themselves and others. We look forward to a new year of partnership with you in providing our students a unique SFS education and helping each of them to realize their humanitarian promise.
