Edge is our faith formation program for students in Grades 6-8. EDGE is a model of faith formation for middle school students that involves learning in a large group/small group format, engaging activities, experiential prayer dynamics, and includes social opportunities such as service projects, and social nights. EDGE seeks to deepen a middle school student’s understanding of their relationship with Christ, and our need for Him in our lives.
Click here for the tentative Edge Schedule for 2025-2026. We will be focusing on questions about God's existence, friendship, Sacred Scripture/Salvation History, and the Mass.
We have two meeting options for Edge.
Youth can attend either on Monday nights from 6:30PM-8:00PM or Wednesday afternoons from 3:30-5PM at the Emmaus House at the Waldo Site (1408 Waldo Blvd.) from mid-September through mid-May. Youth can enter through the main Emmaus House door.
If your middle schooler misses a session (and isn't able to come on the alternative day), please have them complete the material from that week's session, including reading that session's teaching, possibly watching a video, responding to the questions, and spending time in prayer (as indicated). Responses to questions can be turned in here or typed/written and given to Elizabeth.
