To earn English credits, we offer a book group course. In this course, we will read and analyze novels together in a small group setting. For each novel we examine, there will be comprehension questions about the reading as well as various small assignments. At the culmination of each novel, there will be a final project. Each student will be given options as to how to complete the final project based on what fits his or her learning style best. 

Throughout the course, we study different vocabulary words each week. These words will help enhance understanding while reading and are geared toward vocabulary seen on the ACT test.
