Seward High School students must complete 30 hours of community service as a graduation
* It must be completed prior to graduation.
* Completed within the School District of Seward.
* Seek pre-approval by the principal if looking outside the District.
* Occur outside of the school.
* Must be volunteer – not paid.
* Hours begin counting as soon as a student is officially a Seward High School student.
* Incoming 9th graders can start counting their hours with the first day of high school.
Students record their community service on their school MobileServe account.
After a student enters the hours on MobileServe, the hours are then verified by the designated supervisor/sponsor via email. The importance of correct spelling and information on the email entered cannot be stressed enough.
Verified hours are then sent for approval by administration.
MobileServe can also used by students to sign in and out of volunteer events.
