Elementary School
The original Elementary School was built in 1991 with subsequent additions in 1999 and 2013.
A major Security improvement need is to move the Elementary School Administration Office to the building’s front entrance. This allows administration staff to visually identify and check-in all building visitors with three secure points of access control prior to admittance into the school.
Elementary improvements include secure entrance, adding air-conditioning to the Gymnasium, the 1999-addition classrooms, and new classrooms that will double as a storm shelter.
Middle School
A new Middle School practice level track, which was originally planned in 2012, will allow for Middle School student to practice at their school instead of being bussed to the High School.
High School
A major Security improvement need is to move the High School Administration Office to the building’s front entrance. This allows administration staff to visually identify and check-in all building visitors with three secure points of access control prior to admittance into the school.
Career and Technical Education Room
Animal Science Building
"The Ag building gives us the opportunity for more long-term learning regarding animals. We have been able to do some great short-term learning but this lets us house animals in a safe spot where we can study animals. " - SHS Student
"For future FFA students that don't have animals and barns, they will be able to do SAE's (Supervised Agricultural Experiences) at school."

Four-room Science Addition
"Right now, we only have one classroom with a gas line, and many of us want to go into science when we go into college. We could use classrooms that prepare us for college level classes. Windows would also be a nice touch to this space."- SHS student
The High School Track and Football Field was built in 1967. The track has since undergone multiple base layer and resurfacing efforts. With a deteriorated sub-base and asphalt base, additional resurfacing is not possible. The grass field contains multiple depressions and surface irregularities, lacks a consistent slope and crown, does not drain, requires heavy turf maintenance, and is a player safety and injury concern. Due to these issues, Varsity competitions were moved to Concordia University in 2008.
