On April 10, 1920, the Guanziling Branch of Dianzai-kou Public School was established, enrolling 120 students and officially began instruction.
On April 1, 1921, it was renamed Guanziling Branch of Baihe Public School.
On April 1, 1922, it was renamed Guanziling Public School.
On March 21, 1923, it was renamed Siancaopu Public School, and the Guanziling Teaching Site was established on the same day.
On April 1, 1932, it was renamed Guanziling Public School, Siancaopu Teaching Site.
In December 1945, after the restoration of Taiwan, Mr. Feng A-Xuan served as the first principal.
On February 1, 1946, it was renamed Baihe Township Sixth Elementary School.
In March 1946, Mr. Yang Jiang-Zhong was appointed the second principal.
On April 1, 1947, it was renamed Baihe Township Siancao Elementary School, Tainan County.
In February 1952, Mr. Deng Gang became the third principal.
In September 1953, Mr. Zhou Qi-Wen became the fourth principal.
In September 1956, Mr. Liao Huan-Wen became the fifth principal.
In August 1959, Mr. Su Wan-Shi became the sixth principal.
In September 1965, Mr. Chen Yan-Fu became the seventh principal.
On August 1, 1968, it was renamed Tainan County Baihe Township Siancao Elementary School.
In August 1973, Mr. Li Guang-Yu became the eighth principal.
In August 1974, Mr. Yeh Qi-Nian became the ninth principal.
In September 1978, Mr. Huang Yi-Wu became the tenth principal.
In August 1985, Ms. Chang Ling-Yue became the eleventh principal.
In March 1992, Mr. Yang Bo-Lin became the twelfth principal.
In March 1996, Mr. Lai Qing-Wei became the thirteenth principal.
In August 2000, Mr. Shih Jian-Long became the fourteenth principal.
In August 2004, Mr. Lai Mu-Tian served as both the fifteenth and sixteenth principal.
In August 2012, Ms. Lü Yu-Jing became the seventeenth principal.
In August 2016, Ms. Lü Yu-Jing continued as the eighteenth principal.
In August 2017, Mr. Li Zhi-Xuan became the nineteenth principal and continues to serve to this day.
In August 2017, the establishment of the affiliated kindergarten was officially approved, enrolling 15 children aged 2–5.
In May 2016, the reinforcement project for the teaching building at Guanziling Branch was completed.
In March 2019, the reinforcement project for the central classroom building at Siancao Elementary School was completed.
In May 2019, the school's main entrance was reconstructed, funded by Daxian Temple.
In May 2019, the “Hope Corner” project on the east side of the school gate was completed.
In 2020, the school library was renovated and upgraded.
2018: Won the National Silver Award in the Ministry of Education's “Flying 100” Outdoor Education Selection.
2017 & 2018: Won 1st Place in Tainan City's Mother Tongue Micro Film Competition.
2017 & 2019: Received Top Honors in Tainan City's English Readers’ Theater.
2011–2019: For nine consecutive years, the Guanziling Taiko Team earned Excellent Awards in the Tainan City Traditional Arts Competition.
2020: In the 2019 academic year Traditional Arts Competition, both Siancao and Guanziling Branch Taiko Teams received Top Honors in Taiko Performance.
2021: In the preliminary round of the Ministry of Education’s Teaching Excellence Award (Elementary Division), the school was rated as Top Performer in Tainan City.
