NWEA is administered to K-8th grade students to assess and measure growth in reading, math, and language usage. NWEA is given to students 3 times per year: Fall and Spring testing consists of reading, math, and language usage, and in the winter testing consists of reading and math. In middle school, teachers meet with students to review their test scores. Teachers also meet with teaching staff to discuss strategies and action plans to best meet each student's individual needs.
