Kennard-Dale FFA

Kennard-Dale FFA is an integral part of our agricultural education program. FFA provides students with opportunities to develop leadership skills, explore agricultural careers, compete in events, and serve their community — all while building lifelong friendships.

As a chapter of the National FFA Organization, our members participate in activities at the local, county, state, and national levels.

FFA is open to all students enrolled in an agriculture course at Kennard-Dale High School.

What is FFA?

FFA is a student leadership organization that complements classroom instruction and hands-on learning experiences. Through participation in FFA, students gain:

Kennard-Dale FFA offers numerous leadership opportunities, including:

Chapter Officer Team

Committee Leadership

Public Speaking Competitions

State Leadership Conferences

Planning and conducting chapter meetings and events

Students learn how to lead with confidence, organize events, manage responsibilities, and work effectively as a team.

Career Development Events

Members have the opportunity to compete in Career Development Events that test industry knowledge and real-world skills. Some events our chapter participates in include:

Meats Evaluation

Horse Judging

Forestry

Aquatics

Public Speaking

Floriculture

These events allow students to apply what they learn in the classroom in a competitive, hands-on setting.

Community Service & Fundraising

Service is a core part of FFA. Our chapter participates in:

Community service projects

Citrus sales

Butterbraid and cake roll fundraisers

Chapter banquet planning

School-wide activities during FFA Week

Through these activities, students learn responsibility, organization, and the importance of giving back.
