There are many factors that can determine a student’s success rate in and out of the classroom; however, the factor with the greatest impact is family engagement. This is no different for students learning through a cyber school platform versus a traditional brick-and-mortar platform. Family engagement and a strong partnership between schools and families can improve students’ grades, attendance, persistence, and motivation.

SESD Athletics
Students in Grades 7-12 are eligible to participate in SESD Athletics. Click on the links below for more information specific to SEMS and KDHS students.
Parent and Community Organizations
PTAs and PTOs work closely with the school to help fund field trips, assemblies, and family events. In addition, they help to provide resources for student, teacher, and classroom curriculum needs. Help make a difference in the lives of SESD students by volunteering your time this school year.
