Owen Bearman Photography Portfolio

Hey there! My name is Owen Bearman and I'm a 10th grader and aspiring photographer at Sequoyah School. I've been at Sequoyah since kindergarten where my parents chose to send me to school because my mom went there.

The moment I had any kind of access to something to take photos and video when I was little, I was obsessed with cameras and photos. Little me never thought it could be some sort of art with deeper meaning and a technique behind it all but with my most recent photography class, I've discovered this beautiful side of photography.

With two artsy parents, I've been kind of inducted into an artistic way of thinking which I very much enjoy and am grateful for. I enjoy using photography as an outlet for this artistic side of me. I as well am a fan of symbolism and hidden meanings so combining the two, I had recently begun taking photos with a meaning behind them in my personal time. It's a very entertaining hobby to have that you don't necessarily need to focus on but just let the opportunities come to you. Using the techniques I've learned in the class and will learn, I plan on increasing my knowledge in art and specifically photography.
