This project focuses on the refurbishment of the custom historical street signs. All of the parts were refurbished including the redwood posts, metal brackets, and of course, the reflective green-lettered street signs.
I wanted to represent the history of Suburban Park by following the design of the original signs and implement them into the final product. One of the features is that there is a wood block that is sandwiched between two reflective green-lettered street signs.

There were many challenges I faced while working on this project. One of the most prominent ones was getting work done efficiently and having everyone stay focused on their assignment (especially the younger Scouts). Another challenge was making decisions on the fly as issues cropped up. Other than these, everyone worked really well together and I learned a lot about being a leader and how to manage a multi-stage project with multiple teams working simultaneously.
