Share your ideas about your plan for your Monster Project.
As you talk about your plan, you should also show your partner what you're thinking by sharing your post, slides or workbook sketches. (You can either share your screen or use your computer's video lens to share your sketches.)
When explaining your plan, be sure to share the following information:
What do you like about the sketch you selected as your finish design?
Which handbuilding techniques will you be using? (The assignment requires that you use two of the following techniques: pinch, coil, slab.)
Share at least one texture you plan to use on your monster.
If you want any specific feedback, ask now!
Tell your partner something you like about their plan.
Ask a question of your partner.
You may use one of the questions below or come up with a different question.
How will you ensure that your monster is stable?
How will you create texture?
What color glaze would you like to use on your monster?
What overall feeling do you want your monster to express?
What might you name your monster?
Is your monster friendly? Funny? Scary?
Give a suggestion.
Now that you know a little about your partner's monster, give a suggestion. Example suggestions:
You may want to consider...
adding a tail, tongue, toes, etc.
Your monster may like an accessory. I think a _______ could be great. (tie, hat, lunch box, glasses, purse, etc)
Making 200 arms may prove to be challenging, I suggest making less.
