Experiencing how neurological conditions impact lives inspired me to explore the brain, leading to my research on brain function, aging, and neuroinflammation. 

Now at the SENS Lab, I am excited to build on this background to investigate how neural mechanisms modulate pain, affect, and adaptive behaviors across the lifespan.

Outside the lab, I enjoy riding city bikes (따릉이), watching baseball, and catching action movies.

My research started from a simple curiosity about the emotions that drive our actions. 

Questions about how sadness is created, and why it occurs, have guided my path and ultimately led to the opening of this lab.

I plan to continue exploring these questions through the research I can pursue.

Outside the lab, I enjoy reading and writing, walking, and occasionally watching films.
