1. What is math hoops?

Math Hoops is a fun, basketball-themed program where students strengthen their math skills through games, teamwork, problem-solving, and friendly competition.!

Students use a basketball-style board game to practice skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning.

They make decisions, calculate scores or statistics, and use math strategically while competing with classmates!

2.What can students except to do if they join Math Hoops?

When you join Math Hoops, you’re joining a team where math and basketball come together! You’ll play games, solve math problems, develop strategies, compete with friends, and strengthen your math skills—all while having fun.

3. What are the requirements for joining math hoops

Only requirement for Math Hoops is that you are in grades 4-8.

4. How long will math hoops run for and what days/times?

Math Hoops will run all year long. Math Hoop participants will stay after school every Monday from 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm starting October 26, 2026.
