Teacher Representatives serve as a link between SENIA and schools. They promote and share SENIA's work both internationally and locally.
In some schools, SENIA reps are elected, in others they are appointed or volunteer. A SENIA Teacher Rep can be a teacher, related service provider, counselor, or other school professional committed to advocating for diverse learners. SENIA would ask that your school consider appointing/nominating an individual whose role involves meeting the needs of diverse learners and is a member of your faculty who is committed to advancing best practices in education for all students. Ideally, the appointed individual would have attended at least one SENIA conference. SENIA would ask that this individual serves in the position for at least 1 year or longer.
