Apprentice programs combine classroom training with hands on experience in the skilled trades areas.  Individuals enrolled in apprenticeship programs  get paid to learn!  Examples of careers that can begin as an apprentice include electricians, plumbers, tool and die, sheet metal, and steamfitters.
