I have been the Seneca School District K-12 school counselor since 2006 (wow, where does the time go?). I love having the opportunity to work with all age levels and being able to get to know students in kindergarten and being a part of their education through high school graduation. During my time as a school counselor I have seen kids do amazing things! There are a lot of aspects of my job that I enjoy, but I especially enjoy my elementary SEL(Social Emotional Learning) classes, junior student parent meetings, and helping students develop their post-secondary plans. Also, I get very excited when students earn big scholarships!
My educational path started with the Seneca School District. Since my high school graduation I have earned an Associates Degree from Madison Area Technical College (now referred to as Madison College), Bachelors Degree from Winona State University, and a Masters Degree from UW-Platteville.
Outside of the school day I keep busy with my family. My husband, Rob, and I have three children Kolton, Kendra, and Kylie. Kolton is a 2024 graduate of UW-Stout earning his bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering. He is currently working for Blattner Energy helping build a wind turbine farm in the state of Colorado. Kendra is a junior at UW-Eau Claire with a Biology major and planning to continue her education at the masters level to become a physicians assistant. Kylie is a freshman at UW-Whitewater pursuing a bachelors degree in Marketing.
