Bonjour et Bienvenue!

Trent Threeton is a Graduate Assistant for the Department of Modern Languages at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is a native of Ponchatoula, LA where he graduated high school in 2018 while completing 24 hours of Dual Enrollment courses at Southeastern Louisiana University. Trent earned his Bachelor of Arts in World Languages, from Southeastern Louisiana University in May of 2022, concentrating in French with minors in Communication and Francophone & Creole Ethnic Studies. He earned an undergraduate TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate at Southeastern Louisiana University in May of 2023. He is now earning his Master of Arts in French at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is expected to graduate in May of 2024.  He is also earning a Master of Science in Learning Experience Design and Educational Technology. 


His area of interest include Louisiana French, Louisiana Multiculturalism, Louisiana History, Gulf Coast Studies, Strategic Communication, Royal Studies, Language Policy, World Language Acquisition and Pedagogy, Learning Experience Design and Educational Technology
