Steps to Complete Before Day One:
Below are the tasks required for completion for each new hire before their first day with us. Please review each step carefully and be sure that you have completed it fully before moving to the next. Most tasks are triggered automatically by completing the previous task.
What to Expect - We will send you a Background Consent Form from Checkr to authorize SelectQuote to run your background check - if you don't see this within 24 hours of verbally accepting your offer with your recruiter, please reach out to your Onboarding Specialist or Recruiter.
If you are In-Office at the Monaca, PA, Indianapolis, IN or Olathe, KS location (SelectRx)
If you are hired as an In-office associate for the Monaca, PA, Indianapolis, IN, or Olathe, KS location working in a pharmacy related role, you will be required to take a 10-panel drug test in addition to your background check. This drug test can be scheduled through Checkr. If you don't see this within 24 hours of verbally accepting your offer with your recruiter, please reach out to your Onboarding Specialist or Recruiter.
Additional Consent/Info Required? - These are known as Exception Requests in Checkr. If your Candidate Portal indicates an Exception Request, please complete that promptly to ensure your background report is not further delayed (the report will not process until this is completed.). While many exception requests can be handled via your Candidate Portal, some may require you to reach out to Checkr.
*If you do not complete this within the required timeframe, your report will be suspended. If your report is suspended via Checkr, it will require you to contact Checkr. Without a clear background check report via Checkr, SelectQuote will not move forward with your conditional job offer.

My report is taking too long, what is wrong? - Unfortunately, there are times when court processes and delays can impact an estimated turn-around time for your background check report. If your report is experiencing delays, sit tight. Speak with your onboarding specialist to obtain up-to-date ETA’s, or log in to your Candidate Portal via Checkr, where you can review in more detail. Unfortunately, if your report is a County or Statewide search, there is nothing that SelectQuote or Checkr can do to speed up the process; the report is currently pending via the county or state courts being returned to an appointed court-runner or is presently pending finalization review by Checkr.
**Please be aware of several processing delays we've experienced. We will keep close tabs on the status of your background check, and update you if needed**
Required Deadline - 24 Hours from receipt of email from Checkr. 72 Hours from receipt to have a drug test appointment scheduled.
What to Expect - You will receive an Offer Letter from SelectQuote via iCIMS for you to review and sign. If you do not see it within 24-48 hours, please reach out to your Onboarding Specialist.
If you are In-Office at the Monaca, PA, Indianapolis, IN, or Olathe, KS location (SelectRx)
You will receive your offer letter once both your background check and drug screen has cleared.
Required Deadline - 48 hours from receipt of the Offer Letter
What to Expect - Sent by email from Ultimate Software. It is required that you use a computer/laptop when accessing this site to avoid submission errors. If you have any issues while using UKG Onboarding, you can use the document below to assist you, or please contact your Onboarding Specialist.
Required Timeline - Return within 24 hours to ensure HR can launch your I-9 Verification, as well as set up Direct Deposit and other HR documentation.
What to Expect - At the same time you would receive your UKG Onboarding email, you will receive an email from our outside vendor - Equifax.
Using the link provided, you will schedule a virtual meeting for your I-9 Verification. Once you have that appointment confirmed, please forward along your confirmation to the Onboarding Support team so we can track that internally. Please have your original, valid photo IDs (2 forms, or a Passport) before joining this virtual meeting. You must have this I-9 Verification complete prior to your start date. If you have any trouble with this step, please don't hesitate to reach out to your Onboarding Specialist - they will gladly assist.
Required Deadline - 24-72 Hours from receipt of email from Equifax
Local to Kansas City, KS/MO or Non-Local/Remote:
Equipment will be mailed to you later in the week before your start date. Once you have received all of your equipment, you will need to immediately assemble, as we'll want to confirm your setup complete with functional components prior to your start date. To view instructions for how to do so, please see the link below, and reach out to the IT Team at itonboarding@selectquote.com if you require further assistance. If you have not received your equipment by the afternoon of the Friday before your first day of work, please do not hesitate to reach out to your Onboarding Specialist and they will gladly assist.

What to Expect -
SelectQuote Orientation:
This orientation is for corporate roles only.
Prior to your first day, you will receive an invitation through your work email to join our Learning & Development team for your SelectQuote orientation. Orientation will begin every Monday at 9:00 am CST. If an holiday falls on Monday, orientation will be rescheduled at a later date. If your start date would fall on a date past Monday, orientation will be scheduled for you the following Monday next week.
If you do not receive the orientation email prior to your start date, please do not hesitate to reach out to your onboarding specialist.
UKG Ultipro & Docebo:
On your first day, you will be receiving an email from our HR team. This email should include your Employee ID, information for your access to UKG Pro and Kronos. It’s important for you to be able to access UKG Pro so you can keep your personal information up to date, view pay stubs, download your W-2 for year-end taxes, enroll in applicable benefits, and find additional HR related information when you need it.
You also will receive an email from Docebo, the SelectQuote Training Hub. Using the provided link from the email, please complete the Docebo learning plan in its entirety. While you are viewing the training materials, you will watch videos, view slides, and participate in module effectiveness reviews.

If you do not receive the HR email day one, please do not hesitate to reach out to your onboarding specialist.
Required Deadline - You should be 100% completed with the Docebo Learning Plan within 10 business days of your start date.
