Selah Place of Oregon County provides a temporary safe shelter to women, and their children who are escaping domestic or sexual violence. Our shelter is a safe place to recover and "pause" and empower survivors to rebuild independent lives.
Selah Place of Oregon County provides essentials, free of charge, including meals and personal hygiene needs.

Caring advocates that can help you create a safety plan (link to plan), find needed resources, discuss your need for shelter, or just talk
Emergency Shelter
Shelter resident support (case management)
Support groups and life skills classes
Safe at Home application assistance
Legal advocacy and assistance with Orders of Protection (restraining orders)
On-site counseling services: legal, addiction, trauma
Referrals to other community resources
A trained advocate that cares and understands the issues you are facing. The advocate will talk with you about your situation, your safety, and your options to determine if you need emergency shelter services or if our outreach support is more appropriate.
The advocates can provide information about your rights, answer your questions and provide referrals to other community resources.
Strict confidentiality
Safety planning if you are in immediate danger, or are thinking about leaving the abuser.
When you enter our shelter, we will provide basic needs such as bedding, toiletries, food and clothing if needed. You may bring some personal belongings, however we are limited on space and cannot provide storage. So we ask that you only bring what you need into the shelter. You will have your own private room. We have a kitchen, 2 bathrooms , laundry room and a sunroom with tv and a small play area for children that is shared by all residents.
