This is a board game made by Bella, it's about gender inequality. See the tutorial video by clicking the picture or the title!
Since we're participating in online learning, we made a virtual board game based on the original board game above.
To play this game, read the rules below and click the picture or title to direct you to the virtual game.
If you have any questions, you don't understand, or want to play with us, please come to our meeting room. Have fun!
The Game of Inequality
Rules of the Game
Rules:
Setup
Randomly choose one profession card. It will stay the same throughout the game.
Start from the green flag. Keep a pencil and paper near you to manage your points (draw circles to represent coins and cross them out when subtracted).
Pick a character token.
2. Taking turns
Roll all 3 dices. The white dice decides how many steps you will take.
Follow the steps needed below and then take one card from the encounter deck.
The transparent dice decides which result you will get:
Red thumbs-up icon means you'll get the positive result.
Blue sad face icon means you'll get the negative result.
Yellow cursor / hand means you can roll again or move one step forward.
Add or subtract coins as mentioned in the encounter card. Keep track of your total coins on paper.
When you reach the end of the path, go ahead back to the start. Don't forget to collect your salary! In this game, there's no start or finish. It represents life, life keeps going.
Keep going until you are able to reach the goal.
3. Goals
The game ends when you collect 30 coins or more.
The active player should say ‘I rule the world’ to win the game.
Here lies all the information we got from months of research and learning.
Each of us chose a famous woman in history and wrote a bibliography for each one.
