Welcome!!

Thank you for taking the time out to learn more about the amazing work we are doing at The SEED School of Maryland in the External Opportunities office! My name is Agzja Carey and I am the new External Opportunities Coordinator for the SEED School of Maryland. The past 10 months have been nothing short of amazing! From receiving our students who studied abroad in 2019, to launching the 2020 Internship cycle to witnessing our 10th grade scholars' acceptance into MERIT Health Academy, this work has been profound and highly impactful! Not only are we changing the narrative about what is possible with our scholars, but we are changing the narrative within our scholars! The work of this office is a critical component in eliminating both the achievement and access gap that we often find prevalent in low-income communities of color. Through external opportunities, scholars have exposure.
