The course Learning through Pedagogy and Technology enhanced my vision related to using technology in classroom and schools. Prior to studying this course, I had the vision that since technology is there for ones disposal, it should be integrated in the classrooms to enhance the learning levels of the students.
However, this course gave a proper direction to my vision and opinion of integrating technology in schools. Technology alone cannot work to attain high learning levels. It is technology with effective pedagogy that can do wonders. Another crucial element that comes along with technology and pedagogy is change knowledge. Strictly speaking in Pakistani context, where the idea of using technology in schools is still new, it is cumbersome to change people's mindset about bringing in technology to schools. Another factor that hinders the bridging of technology and pedagogy in Pakistani schools is the teacher's fear of accepting technology as an aid to help with teaching and learning process. This is the case where change knowldege is crucial. It is needed to change people's way of looking and using technology.
To sum up, its technology, pedagogy and change knowledge that can work together to make a difference in the entire teaching and learning process
