Dual Enrollment is an opportunity for qualified sophomores, juniors, and seniors at Academy Park High School to enroll in college courses at Delaware County Community College (DCCC).

Students can potentially earn credit towards their high school graduation requirements while also earning college credit.

*Please note that not all courses will count towards a student's graduation requirements at Academy Park High School. If we offer the course at Academy Park High School, it can count towards your graduation requirements and go on your transcript. In addition, it will be the responsibility of the student to determine if the credit earned at DCCC will transfer to their desired college or university.

Students can apply online by going to www.dccc.edu/dualenrollment and click “Apply Now” in the center of the page (under the video). A blue paper application is available in the guidance office. When submitting your application, make sure to submit a pink Transcript request too!

Once completed, students should receive an email in about 72 business hours providing next steps.

You should email the admissions office once you complete your application at admissions@dccc.edu.

After you complete an application, you will need to take a placement test, which is being offered virtually. The placement test will help determine what types of courses you can take at DCCC.

You can waive the placement test if you have qualifying scores on your SATs, PSATs, or Keystone exams.

After the placement test is complete, you will work with a College Advisor to schedule your course(s).

*Be sure to not double book yourself for when you have class at Academy Park High School!

Once you complete the course, see Mrs. Fernandez to have the course added to your transcripts.
