COVID-19 Safety Plan
According to AFIRM, there are 7 recommended strategies to support people with ASD during these difficult and trying times, they are:
Support understanding
Offer opportunities for expression
Prioritize coping and calming skills
Maintain routines
Build new routines
Foster connections (from a distance)
Be aware of changing behaviors
