FREE-ED Center brings its strong local credibility and hands-on experience to European cooperation projects, translating ambitious ideas into practical, low-threshold learning experiences. Rooted in a rural, bilingual Transylvanian context, the organisation works daily with diverse learners, including youth, disadvantaged adults, and people with fewer opportunities, fostering participation.
FREE-ED’s expertise spans creative, participatory approaches, inclusion-by-design, and learner-tailored digital platforms, supporting projects that promote active citizenship, transversal competences, and wellbeing. By combining local reach, flexible delivery, and values-based education, FREE-ED ensures that project outcomes are not only innovative but also accessible, inclusive, and immediately applicable in real community settings.

FREE-ED contributes to the development of adult education hubs that bring together learning opportunities, guidance, and community services in both physical and digital formats. The project supports adult education providers and professionals through methodological tools, training programmes, and practical resources that help design and operate locally embedded, learner-centred education hubs. The project is running for 24 months, between 01 Oct 2025 and 30 Sept 2027.
