The Kids Gardening website has information on when to plant seeds and transplant according to the average last frost date. In Sonoma County, the average last frost date is mid Aprli.
In this video I demonstrate how to start tomatoes in containers. Tomatoes are usually planted indoors in February. You can plant the seeds you get from the seed library into containers or sow the seeds directly into the garden.
