The workshop dealt with the concepts of A.I. and other Machine Learning algorithms within the creative domain. The aim of the workshop was to understand the underlying principles that inform A.I. based algorithms to make creative decisions and also understand the role of the designer within the Human - Machine collaborative workspace.
Creative A.I. and machine learning processes were used for image generation such as image morphing where a sequence of images are
generated that initially resemble a set of input images and then gradually converge toward a second set which is a mixtures of the two. Other methods involved converting text prompts to image where a combination of words are used to generate an intended output image.
We explored different processes of generating drawings through algorithms by learning ML based Style transfer, GAN neural networks etc. and exploring workflows to transfer some of the features into 3d space.
