The Zen Garden is located at the edge of the mangrove , where the human life and the wild life intersect each other, though the main intention of our extention was to remove the edge wall of the Zen garden.
Also the our second main intention was to make the space more engaging to both the age groups i.e the elderly people and young childrens.

Some initial ideas for re-envisioning the Zen Garden
Some Process Models :
We introduced numerous separate activities that would engage a larger range of age groups to the space and constructed the building such that it flows down the side of the mangroves.
Programes -
1. The green space
2. Prepare your own food stand
3. Carom
4. Tabletop games
5. Patio Greenhouse
These apps are positioned so that users can investigate them all as they move along.
The structure mostly comprises of exposed steel pillars and rods, which open up the area and minimize volume in the greenhouse as well. The patio is designed to meet the needs of the vegetables that are grown there, and the natural lighting that comes in through the glass frame makes it lively. The other different activities that take place there also make the space more interesting, and because everything is constructed from the same material, the structure has a sense of unity that we can see as we walk through it.
