English 8 Honors

Hello & Welcome to English 8 Honors!

This year we will read novels, short stories, poetry, non-fiction, and enhance our writing skills through various writing tasks. The main purpose of this course is to prepare students for a level of rigor and accountability they will experience throughout middle school, high school, and beyond, in addition to exploring connections between the literary selections we read/discuss and students’ lives today.
