I have a number of hobbies and passions. First and foremost, I am the mother of the four glowing faces below-Logan Patrick-Forrest, Avery Gray, Elliette Mae, and Willa Joy, and grandmother, or Tutu, to Rufty; these humans are my greatest teachers. I am frequently surrounded by folks who lift me up, as my friends are my chosen family and are a constant source of encouragement and inspiration.
I am a Certified Babywearing Educator, trained by The Center for Babywearing Studies. Additionally, I am a Licensed Be Body Positive Facilitator, and an avid gardener, reader, and lover of podcasts. I am a member of the Eating Disorder Coalition and am passionate about issues affecting access to education, adult transition, and total wellness. I own my own business where I focus on these passions, and trademarked my business name, JenEd, in 2022.
My goals include motivating positive change and increasing access for all learners across California and beyond. I dream of public speaking on the benefits of wellness-based, restorative, trauma-informed classrooms, and wholehearted parenting.
My husband, Mike, and I live with our perfectly imperfect family in beautiful Rancho Penaquitos, just down the way from CCA.
