ABOUT US:
The LCC Dance Team performs at football games, pep rallies and other school events. The team also participates in various competitions at both the regional and national level. Fall and Spring showcases are held each year in the LCC Performing Arts Center.
Dance team members take dance class as a physical education, performing arts or elective course. Two years of physical education and one year of a visual/performing art are required to graduate from La Costa Canyon.

*Dance PE (9th grade non-dance team members)
Beginning Dance P (Offered based on minimum enrollment numbers)
Intermediate Dance P (Offered based on minimum enrollment numbers)
Advanced Dance P
Dance Choreography P
*non-college preparatory P = UC/CSU approved

AWARDS
La Costa Canyon High School recognizes LCC students who have taken four years of visual/performing art and maintain a required GPA at senior awards night by acknowledging them with a Da Vinci Award. Students must meet the requirements for this award and fill out the application in March of senior year.
