Sixth graders and their parents/guardians are invited to come and meet our elective teachers and get more information about our elective choices prior to filling out the course selection form. The Elective Fair will begin in the PAC and families will then have a chance to explore the various rooms where electives are held and enjoy demonstrations and performances throughout the fair.
Course Selection Form and any applications should be electronically completed or returned to CVMS by 3/20. Parts 1 and 2 should have already been completed and you only need to do parts 3 and 4. Course selection forms should be emailed to cvcourseselection@sduhsd.net or dropped off at the CVMS front office. A parent/guardian and student name on the signature line of the course selection form indicates that it has been read and understood. Both the online registration and course selection form must be completed. The online AERIES window will close March 20th at 4:00pm.

Integrated Math B Honors Readiness Test (IMBHRT) is an optional test for 6th-grade students. It is designed to measure a student's readiness to take 8th-grade level Integrated Math B Honors as a seventh grader. This assessment is challenging and designed for students already on an accelerated math pathway. Please select one date/time. Any student who wishes to enroll in Integrated Math B Honors as a seventh grader must take the IMBHRT and score 70% or higher. There are no exceptions. If you would like your student to take the IMBHRT, please use the link above, which will be live in March. Score reports will be mailed on May 4th. This is your only opportunity to test into Integrated Math B Honors as a 7th grader. We do not accept “tutoring” or retest in August.
